For over 25 years in the center of European policymaking, I have closely followed key issues, collaborating with experts to produce clear, timely, and valuable articles for readers.
I. By closely following the topic of European communication, I have
managed to write about the European
primary elections since 2010.
I
have published on this topic with the following:
1. Dominique Ostyn
(Debate
on how to better organise the 2019 European primary elections,
2015)
2. Prof. Alina Bârgãoanu,
(Funding
the 2019 European primary elections,
2016)
(A
moment of truth for European political parties,
2021)
3. Doru Frântescu (economic analyst)
(Why
the Spitzenkandidaten system will have little impact in 2024,
2022)
II. The cooperation with Prof. Mihaela Luţaş began 25 years ago. I am very glad
that our opinion on the importance of Romania's accession to the Eurozone
was appreciated.
(Euro-integration
for Romania: Between desire and necessity,
2022)
III. The PhD completed in 2008 had two central themes, communication and
European education. I coordinated an up-to-date analysis of the European
education situation through an event
in the European Parliament, and the cooperation
with Victor Negrescu and AEGEE Europe was fantastic.
(European
education - the central point of the 2024-2029 EU Agenda,
2024)
IV. The subject of EU enlargement fascinated me enormously, the material
published with Alexandrina Robu-Cepoi, Vlada Toma and Marian Cepoi, at the
launch of the Moldova EU Club was well publicized.
(The
launch of the "Moldova-EU" Club in Brussels,
2023)
V. Having
perfect communication with two giants of Romanian politics, Vasile Puşcaş and
Victor Negrescu, together we analyzed the transatlantic relationship.
(Legislators
from both sides of the Atlantic call for a Transatlantic Erasmus,
2021)
VI. I have had over 10,000 meetings in Brussels, mostly with European
associations. I have coordinated analyses, involving hundreds of experts in
consultations. I recommend the published materials:
(Survey
of federations identifies online communication trends,
2004)
(5
differences in corporates & federations communication,
2016)
(How
Associations Keep Europe Connected,
2025)
VII. I have been posting regularly about job opportunities in Brussels.
Here is a recent article:
(The
Hidden Job Market of Brussels: 3,000 European Associations Powering Europe’s
Policy Ecosystem, 2025)
VIII. Interacting with 30 experts, I wrote a book
for Palgrave Publishing about who
influences EU policies.
(Mapping
the influencers in EU policies,
2019)
